This summer I was in Fort Worth, having lunch with David Yeakle at Benito’s when I ran into artist Frank Artsmarter. I was struck by his wit and demeanor, clearly a man of complex artistic taste. He happen to be sitting at the table next to us, dressed in a Valentino suit made of white silk. Mr. Artsmarter is the curator of the most prestigious Thrift Art Gallery but an artist in his own right. We struck up a conversation about his upcoming instillation, and he asked me to come on-board the project. I was thrilled to have to opportunity to work along side this genius of the modern art world. Here’s a sample of video from the instillation.
